这封信绝大部分内容是真实的，但是我已经发现有一个地方被改动了。
我正在研究这处被改动的内容。
这封信本来不是我泄露的，我有充分的证据表明有人想陷我于不义。
既然有人把它贴出来了，那么我不得不把完整的原文以及相关的背
景资料提供出来。以供大家鉴别。

I thought the intention of the letter was to press the
police to find out the TRUTH about the case, which in
my opinion should be unbiased, with no presumption.
When I said to request the police to disclose what is
known so far is not to prove Wei's innocence, but
allow public fairly know more of the FACTS, the TRUTH.
It would guide people's rational thinking and treat
every one fairly. The damage to Ling and her family is
extremely tragedic and hurts everyone of us who knows
her. But on the other hand, if Wei is innocent, how
unfair it is for the attack and malicous accusation.
Both of them are our classmates. If anyone really did
anything bad, it deserves the punishment. But if it is
unfairly treated, shouldn't we stand up and help? Also
the government is now key on 提高政府工作透明度, what
can't we advocate the police to share the
non-classified preceedings?

In order to sue the netizen, you would have to prove
the identity of the person who stated that. Would you
have the confidence to accomplish that? I don't. I
don't know much about criminal and civil law. But I
think 诽谤 is Civil Lawsuit, and only criminal
investigation could initiate police to track the IP
and private messages. It appears like dilemma to me.
Without the police investigation, you wouldn't know
who to sue. And without the lawsuit, you can't ask the
police to investigate. Maybe your lawer friend could
advise me on this. You probably have seen many
malicous rumors and attacks against me. There is just
nothing I could do about it other than throw them
behind me. The good thing is everyone who is close to
me, knows me, and encourages me.

I wouldn't agree on this one. I remeber Li Longdi's
fluorescence and phosphorescence lab was the open lab
for some instrument analysis lab classes. It is right
across the hall of Luo Guoan's small CE lab. And as
long as there are people around, it is not locked. I
