   7.09 - Chine : les autorités empêchent la diffusion d’un recueil de poèmes sur le massacre de Tiananmen
   
   Le recueil de poèmes sur les événements de juin 1989, "Liusi Shiji" ("Recueil sur le 4 juin"), a été inscrit dans une liste d’ouvrages interdits. Jiang Pinchao, coordinateur du recueil, contacté par Radio Free Asia, a déclaré : "Nous n’avons guère été surpris par cette censure. Ils ne veulent pas de troubles politiques pour l’ouverture du Congrès. La dernière fois, le recueil avait été saisi en raison des fêtes de fin d’année. Cette fois, c’est pour l’ouverture du Congrès."
   
   Les ouvrages mentionnés dans cette liste devraient faire l’objet d’une confiscation massive, jusqu’à la fin décembre.
   
   C’est la deuxième fois que les autorités censurent ce recueil de poésie sur le mouvement démocratique de Tiananmen. Mais depuis sa publication en mai 2007, c’est la première fois que les autorités ordonnent une saisie de cette ampleur.

   7.09 - China : ban on anthology of poems about Tiananmen Square movement
   
   An anthology of poems about the 1989 pro-democracy movement, entitled “Liusi Shiji” (4 June Anthology) in reference to the date of the Tiananmen Square massacre, has been included in a list of censored works that are to be the target of a confiscation campaign between now and the end of December. The anthology’s editor, Jiang Pinchao, told Radio Free Asia: “The ban on the anthology comes as no surprise. They do not want any political unrest for the opening of the congress. The last time, it was seized because of the end of year festivities. This time, for the opening of the congress.” It is the second time a ban on the book has been issued since its publication in May, but the first time confiscation has been ordered on such a scale. The government has told the departments of information, public security and culture in each province and municipality to confiscate all the books on the list.
