Hugo：《肖申克的救贖》 (小小說)
   
   基督山對小民哥說，「在《The Shawshank Redemption》電影裡，有幾句特別的話，例如，‘These walls are kind of funny like that. First you hate them, then you get used to them. Enough time passed, get so you depend on them. That's institutionalizing.’、‘Prison life consists of routine, and then more routine. ’ 、‘I guess it comes down to a simple choice: get busy living or get busy dying. ’；這些話充分說明了‘人類經常會在長期被迫監禁的牢籠中，逐漸習慣於當奴隸的腳色，逐漸習慣於虛無的生活，逐漸被體制化，最後成為徹底放棄自由與希望的人’ ，這不就是人性軟弱部分的普遍寫照？」
   
   「另外一些話，例如，‘Fear can hold you prisoner, hope can set you free. A strong man can save himself, a great man can save another. ’、‘I find I’m so excited. I can barely sit still or hold a thought in my head. I think it the excitement only a free man can feel, a free man at the start of a long journey whose conclusion is uncertain. I hope I can make it across the border. I hope to see my friend, and shake his hand. I hope the Pacific is as blue as it has been in my dreams. I hope. ’、‘ Some birds aren’t meant to be caged, that’s all. Their feathers are just too bright. ’；這些話充分說明了‘人類可以透過永遠不懈的努力，獲得自由與幸福，這不就有勇氣者的人生寫照？」

   
   小民哥提出了觀點，「Freedom還有更深沉的意義！這部電影裡體現了一個專制國家普遍不能接受的Freedom立場與觀點，那就是，‘如果一個國家的法律無法體現Justice時，那麼人類有權依據Absolute Morals與Conscience的立場與原則，拒絕與反對這個國家的法律’；而這個‘Absolute Morals與Conscience’的立場與原則，必須建立在‘God’s ten commandments’ 與 ‘Jesus’ love and justice’的基礎上，否則如何能有真正‘Absolute Morals與Conscience’的意義？」
