Hugo：葉利欽的道德貧困 (小小說)
   
   蘇賡哲說，「我肯定葉利欽為解體前蘇共所做出的巨大成績，但同時也提出了葉利欽的缺陷性：他未能推動世界共產主義的滅亡，他的努力僅僅只限於自己民族和國家範圍之內，缺乏普世的世界民主價值觀。」
   
   「葉利欽執政後，並沒有對其他共產國家表現出一種反對，他推翻了自己國家被共產黨統治的黑暗，不要了，但是對別的國家被共產黨所統治的黑暗他卻一點都不介意。」

   
   「以前的蘇共和現在的中共在本質上並沒有什麼不同的，你既然明知道共產主義是不好的，那你為什麼還要和中共友好，勾搭在一起，還去支持它，這是什麼道理呢！比如葉利欽訪問中國，他與江澤民親切擁抱在一起的熱情畫面，中共在軍火方面的來源供應來自俄羅斯。雖然俄羅斯和中共建立戰略夥伴，只是外交上的一個姿態而已，但實質上他是支持中共政策的。」
   
   小民哥提出了意見，「葉利欽缺乏真正‘耶穌博愛與道德理念的信仰’，因此他怎麼可能成為具有高度道德理念與勇氣的雷根？他怎麼可能從道德理念上，徹底地反對人類所有的‘Collectivism、Absolutism、Dictatorship、Fascist regime、Evil empire、Slavery、Race-baiting、Imperialism、Colonialism與Terrorism’等意識？他怎麼可能有徹底地超越‘Nationalism、Racism、Race chauvinism、Ethnocentrism、Utilitarianism、Situational ethics、Relativism’等思維？」
   
   「他怎麼可能將‘Individualism、Liberalism、Love、Justice、Humanity、All man are created equal、All man have natural human rights、Democracy、Freedom、Equality、Nomocracy、Freeman、Citizen dominion、Civil rights、Human rights take precedence over sovereignty、The sovereign power resides in the people、People have the right to revolution、Peace’等文明理念，推向世界？」
   
   「他怎麼可能將‘People have the right to self-determination、People have the right for autonomy、People have the right to establish a nation、People have the right to establish a Constitution、Limited power of the government、Small government、People have the inalienable right to choose their public officials and to dismiss them、All of the people shall be respected as individuals、All public officials are servants’等文明理念，推向世界？」
   
   「他怎麼可能將‘Freedom of thought and conscience、People have the right to receive an equal education、Laissez-faire market economy、Laissez-faire ideology education、Respect for private property rights、Private ownership of land、Separation of the Three powers(Legislative power、Executive power、Judicial power)、Political Federation與People have the right to live, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness’等文明理念，推向世界？」
