   Description of Case 简介
   Born on November 3, 1955 in Xinyang, Henan Province. Former office director of the Cotton and Linen Company of Xinyang, Henan Province. In July 1998, he established the organization "Observing Corruption in China", which had over 300 members. This organization collected information about corruption taking place throughout China and sent it to be published overseas. It revealed nearly a hundred cases of corruption in one year. On July 16, 1999, several hours after An Jun's mother was buried, he was detained, and on August 17 of the same year, he was formally arrested . On November 24, 1999, the Intermediate People's Court began his trial, which lasted four hours, with more than 100 people attending, but did not announce a verdict. On April 19, 2000, the Intermediate People's Court of Xinyang sentenced An Jun to four years in prison and the removal of political rights for one year, on the charge of inciting the subversion of the state. He was released from prison in July 2004.
   
   1955年11月3日出生。河南省信阳市人。原为河南信阳市棉麻公司办公室主任。98年7月创建“中国腐败行为观察”组织﹐成员300多名﹐涵盖各个省份。该组织在各地收集贪污腐败资料后转送国外媒体发表﹐在一年多的时间里共揭露腐败个案近百起。1999年7月16日﹐安均的母亲刚被安葬几个小时后安均被捕﹐并于同年8月17日被正式逮捕。1999年11月24日﹐河南省信阳市中级人民法院开庭审理安均案﹐庭审进行了4个小时﹐旁听者有100多人﹐未作宣判。2000年4月19日﹐信阳市中级人民法院开庭宣判安均以煽动颠覆国家政权罪判处有期徒刑4年,剥夺政治权利1年。2004年7月获释。
